Cookie Policy
This page explains how NeoShield Security uses cookies and similar technologies. It is a plain-language summary, not legal advice; adapt it to your jurisdiction.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between requests — for example, that you are signed in — and help operators understand how the site is used.
Cookies we use
- Essential cookies. Required for the platform to work: session and sign-in state, CSRF protection, and security controls. These cannot be turned off without breaking core functionality.
- Preference cookies. Remember choices such as your language (English or 日本語) so the interface stays consistent.
- Analytics cookies. If analytics is enabled, we use aggregate measurement to understand which pages and tools are useful. This data is used in aggregate, not to profile individuals.
- Advertising cookies. If advertising is enabled on public content pages (such as blog and guide pages), third-party partners like Google may set cookies to serve and measure ads. We do not place advertising on scanner results, dashboards, authenticated pages, or user-submitted content pages.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by services we rely on — for example, Stripe for secure checkout, and, where enabled, Google for analytics and advertising. These providers manage their own cookies under their own policies.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the platform. Where required, we honor consent choices for non-essential cookies.
Changes
We may update this policy as the platform and our providers evolve; material changes will be reflected here.
